– Nashua-Plainfield sophomore Kadence Huck placed second among varsity girls with a time of 20:00.51 on Tuesday at the Osage Cross County Invitational. Click here for full results.
As a team, the Huskies girls placed 8th out of nine teams.
Freshman Jase Hansen was N-P’s highest finisher in the boys varsity race. He took 13th with a time of 18:57.08. The boys team placed 9th out of 10 teams.
– Osage volleyball defeated Nashua-Plainfield 3-0 (25-17, 25-5, 25-15) Tuesday night. The Green Devils are 10-2. The Huskies are 2-14.
3. HOMECOMING: Nashua-Plainfield will crown its Homecoming royalty at 7 p.m. Thursday on the football field.

The Homecoming parade will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. and the football game begins at 7 p.m. against the RedHawks.
4. SCHOOL VOTE: Voters approved Nashua-Plainfield’s revenue purpose statement on Tuesday. The unofficial results are Bremer County 52-10, Chickasaw 67-3, and Floyd County 5-0.
