A Waterloo man accused of buying vintage toys using money stolen from the seller has been charged with a felony in Chickasaw County District Court. Elvis Puric, 34, is charged with second-degree theft, a Class D felony. According to the criminal complaint, Purvis went to a Fredericksburg address on Feb. 19 to buy vintage toys from another man. They made several transaction before the seller went to a back room to get a toy. An Alabama man is in Chickasaw County jail accused of sexually abusing a woman in June at a New Hampton hotel. Quenton O’Neal Sanders, 32, of Marion, Alabama, is charged with third-degree sexual abuse, a Class C felony, in Chickasaw County District Court. He is accused of performing a sex act on a woman against her will around 9 a.m. June 11 at a hotel in New Hampton.
