Huskies win Homecoming, 32-12

Junior Titus Evans and sophomore Aiden Gelner combined for 218 of Nashua-Plainfield’s 253 rushing yards Friday night as the Huskies pounded out a 32-12 Homecoming victory over North Tama. Evans ran for 85 yards and two touchdowns. Gelner had 133 yards and two touchdowns, including the longest of the day for N-P of 41 yards. He also scored a 2-point conversion. Huskies senior quarterback Bo Harrington found some success in the air by completing five passes for 101 yards and one touchdown, which was a 23-yard reception by senior Joel Winters. Nashua-Plainfield educator named Iowa History Teacher of the Year
