N-P at State Track Day 2: Girls 4th in distance medley

The Iowa High School Track & Field Championships entered Day 2 this morning. Here are today’s results and schedule for Nashua-Plainfield qualifiers:

  • The girls distance medley relay team of Jordyn Frost, Ellie Eick, Jalissa White and Kadence Huck placed 4th in Class 1A with a time of 4:13.34. Cal-Wheatland took 1st at 4:10.65.
  • Aiden Lamborn did not place in high jump.
  • Kaden Wilken ran a personal best time of 15.71 in the boys 110 hurdles to place 16th in the prelims. The top nine finishers also set personal bests. The top 8 advance to the finals.
  • The boys 4×400 relay team of Wilken, Lamborn, Bo Harrington and Titus Evans placed 22nd in prelims with a time of 3:39.50. The eight fastest times advanced to the finals.
