R-R-MR joining Iowa Star Conference in 2024

Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock is leaving the Top of Iowa Conference for the Iowa Star Conference beginning in the 2024-25 school year. The R-R-MR School Board approved the change Monday night (Aug. 15, 2022). ” The board made the decision based on what they feel is in the best interest of our students,” Superintendent Todd Liechty wrote on the district’s Facebook page. “Currently, RRMR is the second smallest school in the Top of Iowa Conference and our students are struggling to compete. ROCKFORD — RRMR is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. R-R-MR senior class to host Veterans Day program Nov. 10

ROCKFORD — The R-R-MR Senior Class of 2018 will host the school’s 17th annual Veterans Day program on Nov. 10. Guests including Floyd County Veterans Affairs Director Maria Deike and Hank Vogelman will be speaking during the program.  The R-R-MR Band and Choir will perform and there will be a short slideshow.  Following the program will be a luncheon provided by the R-R-MR kitchen staff for the veterans who have RSVP’d.
