Nashua-Plainfield’s Dawson Glaser pitched seven shutout innings Wednesday to ice a 7-0 win against Saint Ansgar.

Making his second start on the mound this season, Glaser struck out seven batters while walking none and scattering five hits. In his first outing on May 23, he pitched 6 1/3 innings and struck out 12 in N-P’s 5-3 win over Central Springs.

N-P improved its record to 4-1. The Saints fell to 5-3.

The Huskies scored twice in the 1st inning with one run unearned because an error allowed Tucker Franzen to reach base. Glaser hit a single to score Eli Kalainoff — who led off the game by earning a base on balls — and Franzen. That gave him the first of 4 RBIs on the day.

In the fourth inning, Franzen batted in a run with a two-out double before Glaser pushed across 3 more runs with another single.

In the 5th, Kalainoff hit a double to push across the day’s final run.
