Huskies qualify for State track meet

The Nashua-Plainfield boys and girls track and field teams traveled Thursday to Northwood for their district meet. The boys took 1st as a team. The girls took 6th.

Going to State for the boys team are:

• Kaden Wilken, 110-meter hurdles
• Aiden Lamborn, high jump
• The 4x400m relay team of Bo Harrington, Blaine Brannon, Wilken and Titus Evans
• The 4x800m relay team of Harrington, Blanchard, Jase Hansen and Eli Kalainoff
• The 110m shuttle hurdle relay team of Wilken, Lamborn, Harrington and Evans

Girls team members who punched their tickets in individual and relay events for the State include:

• Girls distance medley team of Jordyn Frost, Ellie Eick, Jalissa White and Kadence Huck
• Huck in the 400-meter dash, 800m run and 1500m run

More qualifiers could be named today.
