Huck breaks school records at Drake Relays

Nashua-Plainfield sophomore Kadence Huck won medals in three races at the Drake Relays in Des Moines Friday and Saturday.

Huck placed 5th in the 1500m run with a time of 4:38.36, which was 12 seconds off her personal best time and is a new school record.

She also placed 4th in the 400m dash with a time of 57.56. First place went to Jaidyn Sellers, a junior at Panorama, at 56.24.

She was 4th in the 800m dash as well, with a school record time of 2:12.82. First place went to Adrienne Buettner-Cable, a senior from Des Moines-Roosevelt, at 2:10.62.
