
Fayette County authorities arrested two people after executing a search warrant at a Maynard home on Dec. 30.
This was the second warrant regarding illegal drugs at the home withing three months, according to a news release from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
Karylann Renee Lewin, 20, and Jaron Opria Evans, 37, both of Maynard, were charged with first-offense possession of methamphetamine (serious misdemeanor), child endangerment (aggravated misdemeanor) and possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor).
The Sheriff’s Office executed the search warrant on at 3:20 p.m. Friday at 120 7th St. N. The news release says deputies found methamphetamine and paraphernalia and determined that an infant also lives at above address.
Lewin and Evans transported to Fayette County Jail, where they awaited initial appearance.
