Oelwein 44, Wapsie Valley 22: The Huskies shut out the Warriors 9-0 in the first quarter on the way to their third win of the season. Oelwein senior Emma Smock led with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Freshman Haydin Becker added 11 points and six rebounds.

Warriors junior Liza Riordan led WV with 9 points and six rebounds.

Oelwein was 2-20 in the 2021-22 season and 3-20 in 2020-21.

Oelwein 49, Columbus Catholic 43: Oelwein had to rally in Waterloo to get their fourth win. Columbus Catholic led 24-17 at the half. Then, the Huskies won the final frames 16-7 and 16-12. Oelwein freshman Haydin Becker led all scorers with 18 points. She also had eight rebounds. Senior Emma Smock led Oelwein with nine rebounds and she contributed 14 points, followed by McKinzie See with 8, followed by Rachel Rulapaugh (6) and Maria Rael (3).

Grundy Center 50, Sumner-Fredericksburg 46: S-F junior Isabelle Elliot scored 23 points and pulled in 13 rebounds in this road loss.

AGWSR 38, Wapsie Valley 31: Warriors sophomore Kenzie Snyder led WV with 7 points followed by junior Kate Risse with 6 in this home loss.
