WAVERLY — Charles City’s girls wrestling team traveled to the Go-Hawk Invite on Tuesday at Waverly-Shell Rock and brought home some medals..

Taking first in their weight classes were:

• Lily Luft at 135: She was 4-0, with three pins and a decision.
• Destiny Kolheim at 170. She was 4-0 with four pins.
• Savanah Baldus at 170B: She was 3-0, with two pins and a decision.
• Ava Thomson at heavyweight: She was 2-0 with two pins.

Placing third were:

• Elizabeth Oleson at 140: She was 3-1 with a pin, a major decision and a decision.
• Leah Stewart at 190: She was 3-1 with a pin, a major decision and a decision

Finishing fourth were:

• Kylie Blunt at 130: She was 1-2 with a pin.
• Kyia Roths at 110: She was 1-2 with a pin

Tegan Cavanaugh took 6th at 115, finishing 3-2 with two pins and a decision.

Morgan Maloy was 7th at 145, finishing 3-2 with three pins.
