Nashua-Plainfield senior Garret Rinken signed his National Letter of Intent on Monday to continue his wrestling career at the University of Northern Iowa next year.

Rinken capped his junior season by taking second in the Class 1A 120 weight class at the 2022 State Wrestling Championships. His season record was 57-1.

As a sophomore in 2020-21, Rinken was 41-0 and won the Class 1A 113 state title.
