1. WEATHER — Today will by sunny, with a high near 65. Northwest wind 3 to 7 mph. Tonight will be Mostly clear, with a low around 37. Light and variable wind. (Extended Forecast)

2. HALLOWEEN EVENTS TONIGHT

• Maynard Fire Department Halloween Party, 4:30-7 p.m., visit the Maynard Fire Station when out trick or treating and warm up with hotdogs and treats.
• Halloween in Arlington, 5 p.m., Arlington Events Center. Trick-or-treating until 7 p.m., pick up a goodie bag, register for the Witches Call (which will be at 8 p.m.) Costumes encouraged.
• Trick or treating at the Oelwein Fire Department — 5-7 p.m. , Lions Club and Oelwein Fire station again this year will be doing a joint Halloween trick or treat at the fire station for candy and games
• Fairbank Trick-or-Treat times, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

3. WV AND S-F IN STATE VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT TOMORROW

• No. 3 Wapsie Valley (41-4) vs. No. 6 Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (30-5), 4 p.m. Xtreme Arena, Cedar Rapids
• No. 7 Sumner-Fredericksburg (31-10) vs. No. 2 Western Christian (40-5), 2 p.m., Xtreme Arena, Cedar Rapids.
