Good morning, Nashua area. It’s Saturday, Oct. 25, and here’s what’s happening.
1. WEATHER — Today will be sunny, with a high near 61 and a southwest wind that could gust as high as 28 mph. Tonight, it will be mostly clear, with a low around 36. Northwest wind 7 to 10 mph. Sunday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 50. Breezy, with a northwest wind 8 to 13 mph increasing to 16 to 21 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph.

2. SPORTS —Hudson leapfrogged Nashua-Plainfield in football district standings. The Pirates won 20-14 in Nashua Friday night to move into third place with a 3-3 district record, knocking the Huskies into fourth. Both teams have qualified for the playoffs, which begin next week. 3. HALLOWEEN ACTIVITY — Shake It Up Pumpkin Painting, will be 10:30-11:30 a.m., today at the Nashua Public Library, 220 Brasher St. The library will have pumpkins and paint available for you.
Also, bring the kids into the library Saturday between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. and check out at least two children’s or junior’s books and get a FREE large pumpkin. One pumpkin per child while they last!
