1. Weather — Today: Sunny, with a high near 66. South wind 9 to 14 mph. Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 42. Southeast wind 6 to 8 mph. Friday: Sunny, with a high near 69. South wind 6 to 13 mph. (Extended Forecast)

2. Trap shoot fundraiser — The Nashua Fish and Game Club is hosting a night shoot under the lights Saturday, Oct. 22, called “One Last Gun Blast.” Fifty targets, concession stand, medals for top 3 shooters and door prizes. Everybody is welcome and proceeds go toward the Charles City/Nashua Plainfield trapshooting team.

3. Sports — N-P volleyball hosts St. Ansgar (13-10) at 7 p.m. It is Senior Night. This year’s seniors are Paige Ripley (2), and Bailey Fisher (6).

N-P’s boys and girls cross country team will travel today to a 12-team meet hosted by Hampton-Dumont at Maynes Grove Park near Hampton for a 4:15 p.m. start.
