Conall Sauser, Ray Gearhart and Benjamin Driscoll finished 1-2-3 today at the Denver Cross County Invitational, leading the Huskies to another team championship.
Sauser, won the boys 5K with a time of 17:10.9, followed by Gearhart at 17:24 and Driscoll at 17:34.3.
Oelwein’s Jacob Sullivan placed sixth at 17:57.9, followed by Caleb Schunk in 10th at 18:38.2.
Oelwein, ranked No. 4 in Class 2A, scored a 22 to continue its undefeated streak. Denver was second (36), followed by 3. Jesup (93), 4. Waterloo Columbus (129), 5. Sumner-Fredericksburg (152), 6. Union (175), 7. BCLUW (179), 8. Dike-New Hartford (190) and 9. Dunkerton (192).
