N-P boys place 5th in sectional tournament, Rockford 2nd, North Butler 3rd
AGWSR won Wednesday’s Class 1A Boys Sectional Golf Tournament at Nashua Town and Country by 35 strokes. After 18 holes, AGWSR scored 335 as a team, followed by Rockford (370), North Butler (372), Dunkerton (386), Nashua-Plainfield (392), Clarksville (428) and Riceville (433). PHOTOS: N-P golf teams win home meet
The Nashua-Plainfield boys and girls golf teams hosted Saint Ansgar and Newman Catholic on Thursday at the Nashua Town and Country Club. The girls won with a team score of 200. N-P boys win home Cowpath Relays
With the Top of Iowa Conference meet coming up Thursday at Nashua-Plainfield High School, the Huskies boys track team on Monday gave reason to believe a title is in the making. The Huskies scored 139 team points to grab first at the Cowpath Relays at N-P stadium, 16 points ahead of conference rival Saint Ansgar (123). North Fayette Valley finished third (108), followed by Dunkerton (60), North Butler (57), Janesville (55) and Clarksville (46).
