Armed standoff in Maynard ends peacefully On June 4, Fayette County Communications received a report of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Palace Rd and Hwy 3. It was reported that a silver pickup struck fixtures along the roadway and fled the scene at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was later located at a residence in the city of Maynard.
