CCMS tries to make lost items found

CHARLES CITY — Wondering where your middle schooler’s black and red high tops went? How about that Tampa Bay stocking cap? Well, it might be in the Charles City Middle School lost and found, but it won’t be much longer. The school posted a video on its Facebook page that shows the many items of clothing and more in hopes owners will come get them. “All of these items will be donated to The Treasure Chest by the end of the week if they are not claimed,” the post said. First day of spring reaches a high of 61, not a record

As nice as the weather was today in the Charles City area, the high temperature of 61 did not break the record set in 1918 of 73 degrees. It was also the first day of spring. St. Patrick’s Day patrols to help CCPD buy in-car cameras

CHARLES CITY — More police than usual will be on the roads this St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Heroes Day coming up at Nashua Library April 15

NASHUA — The Nashua Public Library is gathering local heroes for its Heroes Day event from 11 a.m. To 1 p.m. April 15.
