St. Patrick’s Day patrols to help CCPD buy in-car cameras

CHARLES CITY — More police than usual will be on the roads this St. Patrick’s Day weekend. RAGBRAI to swing behind hospital entering Charles City

CHARLES CITY, Iowa — More details have been revealed this week about the path thousands of bicyclists will take July 26 through Charles City. Riders in the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa will enter on Hwy. 14 and turn south on Quill Avenue to follow a route behind the Floyd County Medical Center. From Quill, they’ll turn left onto 215th before turning left again at South Main Street, passing Molstead Motors on the way to Riverside Park. Heroes Day coming up at Nashua Library April 15

NASHUA — The Nashua Public Library is gathering local heroes for its Heroes Day event from 11 a.m. To 1 p.m. April 15.
