The Warriors (3-4) answered with 3 runs in the bottom of the inning to tie the game, and then 1 in the 6th to win. Ashlynn Grady led the Warriors, with three hits, including a solo home run. She scored 2 runs in the game. Hannah Hillman led Rockford in RBIs with 4. Her two hits were both home runs. She crossed home plate 3 times.
Osage 14, Nashua-Plainfield 0 — The Green Devils improved to 5-2. The Huskies fall to 1-6.
Clarksville 8, North Butler 1 — The Indians remain undefeated. Cailyn Hardy struck out six batters in seven innings for the win

Charles City 10, New Hampton 3 — The Comets improved to 2-6 as the Chickasaws fell to 2-2. Pitcher Keely Anderegg struck out 12 batters in seven innings for the win.
Decorah 10, Waukon 9 — After Waukon (4-1) tied the game at 6-6 with a 2-run 7th inning, it took two overtime frames and a combined 7 runs to get a winner. Decorah (5-1) edged Waukon by scoring 3 in the 9th.
Crestwood 8, Waverly-Shell Rock 7 — Crestwood’s Olivia Ollendick and Laney Peter each scored 3 runs while going 2-for-4 at the plate. Ollendick hit a triple and stole two bases. Peter knocked in 2 runs and stole one base. The Cadets improved to 4-3. The Go-Hawks are 3-3.

NORTH IOWA CEDAR LEAGUE
Sumner-Fredericksburg 12, Denver 4 — The Cougars (7-1) held the Cyclones (2-4) scoreless until a 4-run rally in the bottom of the 7th. S-F’s Jamie Jones drove in 6 runs while hitting a homerun and a double.
East Marshall 7, Union 1 — Morgan Neuroth struck out seven batters to lead East Marshall (2-5) over Union (1-5).
Wapsie Valley 16, Grundy Center 2 — Taylor Buhr had a hand in 6 of Wapsie Valley’s runs despite getting only one hit. She drove in 3 runs, stole four bases and crossed home plate 3 times. The Warriors improved to 4-3. The Spartans fell to 2-5.
Jesup 5, AGWSR 1 — After both squads scored a run in the 1st inning, Jesup’s Klair Kite shut down AGWSR’s offense. She struck out five in seven innings of work. The J-Hawks are now 5-3 and AGWSR is 4-5.
