Oelwein sophomore Conall Sauser took 5th in the Class 2A boys 3200m run on Friday in Des Moines at the Iowa High School Track and Field Championships. He finished with a time of 9:59.90.

Senior Ray Gearhart was 24th with a time of 10:30.82.

Oelwein shuttle hurdle team of Brock Steinlage, Matthew Bratten, Hayden Tripp and Garet Kiel finished 13th with a time of 1:04.34.
