Franzen leads N-P girls golf to meet victory

Nashua-Plainfield’s varsity girls golf won the three-team meet on Thursday in Northwood. The Huskies shot a 204 as a team, followed by Newman Catholic (206) and Northwood-Kensett (230).

Paige Franzen was the medalist with a low 9-hole score of 44. Autumn Nelson shot a 49, followed by Faith Franzen (55), Natalie Sinnwell (56) and Payton Howland (70).

Glaser leads N-P boys golf to 2nd place finish

Nashua-Plainfield’s Dawson Glaser shot a 43 to tie for the 9-hole low at Thursday’s three team meet in Northwood. The Huskies took 2nd as a team with a score of 195. Northwood-Kensett won with a 192. Newman Catholic was 3rd at 208.

N-P’s Devon Blanchard and Levi Callahan each shot 50, followed by William Lindeland (52), Ty Berger (53) and Tyler Zimmerman (59).

Husky boys place 3rd at Dike track meet

Nashua-Plainfield took 3rd out of eight teams at Thursday’s varsity track meet at Dike-New Hartford.

Huck racing at Drake Relays

Nashua-Plainfield sophomore Kadence Huck qualified for three events at the Drake Relays, which will begin today in Des Moines. Her race schedule:

• 800m run: 1:38 p.m. Friday, April 28
• 400m dash: 5:14 p.m. Friday, April 28
• 1500m run: 4:39 p.m. Saturday, April 29
