The tentative date for opening Cedar View Park Campground is April 20, and the camping and shelter rates will remain the same, Park Board President Nate Sinnwell said Monday in his monthly report to the City Council

• BOYS & GIRLS TRACK — Nashua-Plainfield’s trip to Osage for a track meet was scuttled Tuesday by the wet weather.
• BOYS GOLF -— The N-P boys finished third on Monday at a triangular in Charles City. Osage won with a team score of 168 at Cedar Ridge Golf Course. Charles City shot a 191 and N-P a 224.
• GIRLS GOLF — Osage edged N-P by 3 strokes on Monday to win the triangular in Charles City. Osage shot a 236 followed by N-P with 240 and Charles City with 244. N-P sophomore Paige Franzen led all individuals with a nine-hole score of 50 (51 adjusted).
• LAMBORN ON TOP — N-P senior Aiden Lamborn has the best high jump in the Top of Iowa Conference East Division so far this season at 6 feet. Forest City junior Dakota Carlson leads the West with a 6-8.
• HUCK IN THE LEAD — N-P sophomore Kandace Huck has the 5th best 400-meter dash time in Class 1A at 58.8. That’s 5th best among all state classes.
