Today will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 35. Light north wind increasing to 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon. Tonight, watch for patchy fog before 8 p.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 23. North wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Thursday will be mostly cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 23 by 5 p.m. Blustery, with a northwest wind 16 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph.

EAT SOUP, SUPPORT AFTER-PROM

Mark your calendars, a soup supper fundraiser will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, in the Nashua-Plainfield Jr./Sr. High commons. The soup and bars sales will support after-prom activities.

Nashua-Plainfield swept Rockford last night in Top of Iowa Conference basketball. The girls won 53-14 and the boys 65-29.
