PARKERSBURG — Aplington-Parkersburg made 13 3-pointers as they won 60-25 over the visiting Oelwein girls basketball team.
A-P’s Ellen Waller sank six of those 3-pointers as she put up 21 points to lead all scorers.
Ninth-grader McKinzie See led Oelwein with 16 points.
The Falcons improved to 2-0. The Huskies are now 1-1. They opened the season with a 76-26 home win over Postville before the Thanksgiving break
