Wapsie Valley senior Dawson Schmit is taking his wrestling skills to Upper Iowa University next year.

The Wapsie Athletics Twitter feed announced Schmidt’s decision last week.

Schmit captured fifth place in the Class 1A 120 weight class at the 2022 State Championships.
