Nashua morning update (Monday, Sept. 26): Volleyball and football at home this week

WEATHER

SPORTS

Nashua-Plainfield volleyball (5-15) will have two home games this week. Huskies will host Clarksville (0-10) at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, and St. Ansgar (8-10) at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, which will be Senior Night. The Huskies have won two in a row.

N-P football (4-1) will host Grundy Center (5-0) on Friday.

N-P’s boys and girls cross country team will travel to Thursday to a 12-team meet hosted by Hampton-Dumont at Maynes Grove Park near Hampton for a 4:15 p.m. start.

GOV’T NEWS

City Hall will be closed Wednesday, Sept. 28-Friday, Sept. 30 so staff can attend a conference.
