CHARLES CITY — The city’s spring clean up dates have been set for April 23, 24,25 and 26.The guidelines are the same as last year, according to a city news release.

Do not put out any items prior to April 21.  The main reason for this is to help reduce the possibility of rains soaking up the items and causing heavier loads to the landfill.  It will also help reduce the potential of items being strewn around the neighborhood prior to pickup. Any items set out before this date may result in a nuisance violation. This service is for Charles City residents only so please do not bring in any items from outside the city limits.
