Hog facility, engineer contract and litigation on Floyd County Board agenda Monday

CHARLES CITY — A construction permit for a new hog facility, the county engineer’s contract, and a closed session about litigation are on the agenda for a special meeting Monday of the Floyd County Board. County supervisors will begin their day in a special meeting with the Chickasaw County Board at 10 a.m. in the Chickasaw County Courthouse in New Hampton. RAGBRAI to swing behind hospital entering Charles City

CHARLES CITY, Iowa — More details have been revealed this week about the path thousands of bicyclists will take July 26 through Charles City. Riders in the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa will enter on Hwy. 14 and turn south on Quill Avenue to follow a route behind the Floyd County Medical Center.
