Oelwein schools announce administrator shifts

Derek Kuennen and Jamie Jacobs will have new positions in the Oelwein School District next year Kuennen will be the high school’s assistant principal and activities director. Jacob’s will be the Wings Park and Little Husky principal,

Oelwein Prom is this weekend

Oelwein students will be decorating at the Sacred Heart gymnasium for Prom today from 4-8 p.m. The theme in “On Cloud 9.”

Prom will be on Saturday. April 15. Here is the schedule:

• 2-5 p.m. – Cole Reising Photography taking photos at the Williams Center for the Performing Arts.
• 6:45 p.m. – Grand March at the Williams Center
• 8:30-10:30 p.m. – Dance at Sacred Heart gymnasium
• 10:30-11 p.m. -Time for students to change for Post Prom
• 11-midnight -Hypnotist at Williams Center
• Midnight to 1:30 a.m. – Post Prom at the high school gymnasium and cafeteria
