The 2021 spring clean up is back this year in Charles City after last year’s cancellation because of COVID-19. It will be different from past cleanups in that it is scheduled in two parts: From April 12-23 residents can order a dumpster that they have one day to fill. From April 26-30 there will be traditional curb-side pickup.

Please click here to see the flyer on the do’s and don’ts for this year’s clean up. The biggest change is the option to have a dumpster set at your house for 24 hours. The other big change is that all curbside items must be bagged, no loose items or cardboard boxes will be allowed. Residents can use regular garbage bags for this; use of the orange bags is not required .
