Weekend storm dropped up to 17 inches of snow

Nora Springs found itself digging out from 17 inches of snow over the weekend. Rockford had 16, while Charles City received 14.

The snowstorm that began Friday evening, March 23, and finished Saturday, March 24, blanketed the region with up to 17 inches, according to a National Weather Service. Below are snowfall totals collected by the Weather Service from a variety of sources. Not all the sources are considered official.
