CHARLES CITY — Little ghosts and goblins are invited to don their Halloween costumes and bring their treat bags for the 21st annual SpookWalk trick-or-treat event held on Thursday, October 26th, from 5:30-7 p.m. along the riverfront trail in Charles City.
Local businesses and organizations will be providing decorated treat stations along the recreational trail starting out behind the Charles City Public Library, proceeding under the Brantingham Bridge and looping around Riverfront Park. This event is free to take part in for youth ages 12 and under, and open to all residents from Charles City and the surrounding area. Children should be accompanied by an adult. Don’t forget to bring a goodie bag and a camera as this event is sure to be fun for the whole family!
Spookwalk is sponsored by Community Revitalization, with this year’s event theme being “Halloween Around the World”. In case of inclement weather, the event may be rescheduled for Monday, October 30th.
