7 p.m. — CC Jazz Band Reunion to honor Robert “Bob” Gower Concert at Youth Enrichment

10 a.m. — Freedom in Christ Service in Central Park

1 p.m. — Bill Riley Talent Contest at Charles Theater. Talent contest that annually show cases the
diverse abilities of Iowa’s young people. Winners could advance to the State Fair. Sign up at the Chamber, by calling 228-4234, or just stop by and enjoy the show!

Monday, July 3
10 a.m. —  16 years and younger Co-Ed Sand Volleyball Tournament at Comet Bowl; $40/team; to

10 a.m. —  Register for Kids’ Parade and prizes (bandshell on Kelly St.) Goodie bags to first 80 registered
kids 12 years & younger

12:15-4 p.m. — Central Park Fun After the Parade including food, drinks and family entertainment, live music feature Endless Summer and CCHS Fine Arts Hall of Fame Ceremony

7:30 p.m. — Municipal Band Concert at Riverfront behind Charles City Public Library

10 p.m. — Fireworks over the Cedar River
