CHARLES CITY — The Lions Field Pool will open for the 2017 season at 1 p.m. Monday, May 29, but then it will close until school is out for the summer.
Because school is still in session in Charles City, the pool will be closed Tuesday, May 30, through Friday, June 2, and will reopen Saturday, June 3, for the season.
General swim hours are 1-7 p.m. daily.
The pool may close early on days of inclement weather, or when the water or air temperatures are below 72 degrees Fahrenheit.

Rates (including 7% sales tax) and hours effective for the 2017 season are:
- Household: $149.80
- Individual: $64.20
- Adult $ 4.50
- Junior (18 yrs. & under): $4
- Child (5 yrs. & under) $ 2.0
- Punch Ticket: 10 punches $35 (Good for 30 days from purchase)
Children 8 years old and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. A guardian must be a minimum of 15 years old.
GENERAL SWIM: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM – DAILY
FAMILY NIGHT: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM – SUNDAY
YOUTH INNERTUBE NIGHT: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM – THURSDAY
Household includes everyone living at the same residence and may also include grandparents and babysitter. Base ticket price includes up to a total of six (6) people. An additional $25 per person is required over 6 persons.
