According to the National Weather Service, the Floyd County area is likely to see rain throughout the day beginning around 9 a.m. and into the night. There will be patchy fog, a high temperature near 52, and a northeast wind of. 7 to 10 mph. The low temp tonight should be around 52.
The Charles City Council meets at 6 p.m. today. Public hearings are scheduled for:
— The Rolfing Street Water Main Replacement Project
— Bunn Avenue Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project
— The Clark Street Sidewalk Extension Project, and
– The Arts Center stair Repair Project
The council also anticipates voting on leasing parking lot space to Thiesens for its garden center, insurance renewal, a bridge ealuation agreement wth Calhoun-Burns and repairs to the picnic shelter at Sportsmans Park.
