Here we go! The 2018 Iowa prep football season kicks off Friday night for Charles City High School. The Comets travel to Cresco to play the Cadets. Game time is 7:30 p.m.

Head’s up Comet Student Section, the Waverly-Shell Rock Student Section has released a schedule of its theme nights at Go-Hawk football games. When Charles City travels to Waverly on Oct. 19, that section is planning to go all patriotic with an “America Out” theme.
