Nashua AM Update (March 8): Snow returns to forecast, adult prom this weekend and ‘Oz’ coming to N-P

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORECAST

Today: Rain and snow possible throughout the day. Cloudy, with a high near 39. Southeast wind 7 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Tonight: A slight chance of rain and snow before 8 p.m., then a chance of snow. Cloudy, with a low around 31. East wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Thursday: Snow before 11 a.m., then snow, possibly mixed with rain between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., then snow. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 35. Breezy, with an east wind 14 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.


N-P TO PRESENT ‘THE WIZARD OF OZ’

Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre will present the musical “The Wizard of Oz,” at 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 25, at Nashua-Plainfield High School. Admission is $5. Presale tickets are available from Mrs. Velez-Rice (2nd floor of the high school.)


ADULT PROM ON SATURDAY TO BENEFIT N-P AFTER PROM

An adult prom from 8 p.m. to midnight at Big Willies on Main Street in Nashua is a fundraiser for the Nashua-Plainfield after prom activities. Admission is $10 at the door. Dress to impress or come as you are. There will be a DJ, 50/50 raffle and snacks available for purchase.
